The Ultimate Book of the Horse and Rider

Happy Fall ya’ll! It’s September and the latest start to school we have ever seen! Hurricane Harvey did a number on many of the schools in Tay’s district so we were privy to and extra 2 weeks of summer vacation. I wasn’t mad since I work my schedule around Tay, I essentially got to hang out with her for an extra 14 days. Tay on the other hand tried to hang with her friends to the whole time, but I digress, lol.

Fall brings out the best weather in HTX and it’s really the best when you are able to wear sweaters but the sun is still shining beautifully each day. I have recently become a huge fan of the website Poshmark, which allows you to buy and sell clothing and accessories with other fashion minded people. It’s so awesome and easy to use. I saw this horse print sweater and made it mine in a flash. The Poshmark app has all of my info stored so I was literally the owner of this sweater in a barely two minutes.

I am a huge fan of all things equestrian since my childhood days of horseback riding. I started riding Hunter/Jumper at 9 years old and have a deep passionate love for the sport still. I’m becoming that lady who wears animals on clothing. Tay has been riding only a few times, recreationally, she’s always been swamped with swim and piano so she’s was never able to take it up as an extra curricular. We are looking for a piece of horse property in AZ once Tay goes off to college, so looks like Tay will be able to ride when she comes home for visits!! Have a great week!
